Why GRIN10 Whey isolate

Simplicity. Simplicity. Simplicity.

Protein is a macronutrient that everybody needs. There's no dispute about that. But a high quality good protein is expensive. So some brands play tricks. They add creatine to make the protein number look bigger than it is. Others hide cheap fillers behind artificial flavours to cut costs. Some brands even add enzymes and calls it “Advanced Technology”.

But the truth is whey protein is naturally easy to digest. It doesn't need added enzymes. If a brand is adding them, it's marketing, not science.

This confuses people. They end up buying the wrong product. They don't see results. Some even get an upset stomach.

We don't play those games. We took out the clutter. Just whey isolate. Natural cocoa. Stevia. Three ingredients. No tricks. No fillers. No fine print.

What's on the label is what's in the scoop.

Ingredients

Whey isolate –

The purest form of whey protein available. It is made by filtering out almost all the fat, lactose, and carbs — leaving 90% protein by weight behind.

It contains all 9 essential amino acids and all 11 non-essential amino acids — making it a complete protein. It also has a PDCAAS score of 1.0, the highest possible score for protein quality. This means your body absorbs and uses almost every gram you consume. Whey isolate is also one of the most bioavailable protein sources known.

Whey isolate is not a Steroid or Synthetic protein. It's a natural food protein, just like the protein in milk, paneer, or curd. It's 100% vegetarian — obtained from cow's milk, the same milk you drink every day.

Whey isolate used in GRIN10 Whey isolate is antibiotic free and made from grass fed cows. It is obtained through specialized ultrafiltration using low pressure and temperature. This keeps the protein natural and non-denatured, with all protein fractions intact.

Natural Cocoa-

We use natural cocoa powder for flavour. No artificial chocolate flavour. No cocoa-flavoured powder. Just the real thing. The same cocoa used in dark chocolate.

It gives GRIN10 its rich, smooth chocolate taste without the need for artificial flavours. Natural Cocoa is naturally rich in polyphenols — plant compounds that act as powerful antioxidants in the body. It helps in reducing oxidative stress, supports heart health, improves mood and may help improve insulin sensitivity.

Stevia-

A natural sweetener that comes from the leaves of the stevia plant. It's 300 times sweeter than sugar but adds zero calories, zero sugar, and doesn't spike blood sugar levels.

Usage instructions

How to use:

Add 1 scoop (32g) to 200–250ml of cold water or milk. Shake well in a shaker bottle for 15–20 seconds, or stir thoroughly with a spoon. Drink immediately.

For a thicker shake, use milk. For faster absorption or if you have sensitive gut, use water.

Vary the liquid quantity for desired taste and consistency.

Note: If you stir with a spoon instead of using a shaker, you may notice a few clumps floating on top. That's not undissolved protein — it's the natural cocoa powder. A shaker bottle solves it in 15 seconds.

When to use:

  1. For protein intake - Anytime during the day — between meals, with breakfast, or as an evening snack.
  2. For Lean muscle building - Within 30–45 minutes after your workout. A second serving in the morning or between meals also helps.
  3. For Post workout recovery- Right after your workout — ideally within 30 minutes.
  4. For weight management - Between meals or as a meal replacement when you're short on time. Protein keeps you full longer, controls hunger, and prevents overeating.
  5. Lactose- sensitive lifters-Anytime, but mix with water (not milk) for best digestion.

Few Tips:

  1. Don't use hot water or hot milk to dissolve whey protein. It creates lumps, affects texture.
  2. Don't exceed 2 scoops a day unless your trainer or doctor recommends it.
  3. Pair your protein with a balanced diet. Protein supplements work best when your overall nutrition is in order.
  4. Stay hydrated. Higher protein intake means your body needs more water.

FAQs
  1. How much protein does a person need?

The recommended daily protein intake can vary based on factors such as age, sex, activity level, and overall health. However, a general guideline provided by health organizations is:

  • Adults: The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for protein for most adults is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. This is a basic guideline to prevent deficiency.
  • Athletes and Active Individuals: Athletes and individuals engaged in intense physical activity may require a higher protein intake to support muscle repair, recovery, and adaptation. Recommendations for this group may range from 1.2 to 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
  • Older Adults: Older adults may benefit from a slightly higher protein intake to help prevent muscle loss associated with aging. Some recommendations suggest 1.0 to 1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
  1. Why do i feel burning sensation in my stomach after consuming whey protein?

Whey protein itself does not typically cause a burning sensation in the stomach. Since whey protein is very high in protein, individuals who are not used to consuming adequate protein in their regular diet may experience this discomfort when they suddenly increase their intake.

Protein has a higher thermic effect, meaning it generates more heat during digestion. This can sometimes lead to a mild warming or burning sensation, especially for first-time users. However, as your body adapts, you can comfortably consume 30–40 g of protein per serving.

If you are a beginner, it is advisable to:

  • Split your protein intake into smaller doses
  • Consume whey protein after meals
  • Stay well hydrated

Also, please choose a high-quality whey protein that suits your digestion.

If the sensation persists:

  • Reduce the serving size and assess tolerance
  • Check for lactose intolerance or sensitivity to additives (sweeteners, flavors)
  • Try switching to whey isolate (lower lactose) or a different protein source
  • Avoid taking it on an empty stomach
  • If symptoms continue, consult a healthcare professional
  1. How does Whey Protein Isolate help with weight loss?

Whey Protein Isolate can support weight loss when incorporated into a balanced diet and regular exercise routine. Its high protein content helps control appetite by promoting a feeling of satiety, which can reduce overall food intake and curb cravings. Over time, this can contribute to fat loss while helping preserve lean muscle mass. Additionally, becuaseit is highly concentrated in protein, it allows you to meet your protein requirements with fewer calories compared to many whole food sources.

  1. Is Whey Protein Isolate different from Whey Protein Concentrate?

Yes. Whey protein isolate has a higher protein content (90% by weight) and lower levels of fat and carbohydrates compared to whey protein concentrate (80% by weight). Isolate undergoes more filtration steps, making it a purer form of whey protein. Because of this additional purification process, whey isolate is more expensive than whey protein concentrate.

Whey protein concentrate is also a high-quality protein and contains the same essential amino acids as whey protein isolate, but it has a slightly lower total protein content per serving. It also contains higher levels of lactose and fat than isolate, which may cause mild gastric discomfort for some individuals.

  1. How should I consume Whey Protein Isolate?

It can be mixed with water, milk, or any suitable beverage of your choice. Unflavoured whey can be mixed with regular foods like smoothies, ice-creams, milkshakes, oatmeal etc. as a protein boost.  Flavoured versions are more suitable for active individuals usually consume it immediately post-workout.

  1. Is Whey Protein only for athletes and bodybuilders, or can anyone benefit from it?

While athletes and fitness enthusiasts benefit most from whey protein, it is also helpful for the general population. For those with busy lifestyles, it's a convenient way to meet daily protein requirements.

  1. Can I take Whey Protein Isolate if I’m not going to gym?

Protein is a macronutrient that everyone needs to consume in sufficient quantity, as it supports tissue repair and recovery. Gym-goers and people with active lifestyles may need more, but whey protein can also be consumed by individuals leading a sedentary lifestyle to meet their daily protein needs. It's important to adjust serving size based on individual dietary requirements.

  1. I already consume what I consider an optimal amount of protein in my diet. Is there any need for me to include Whey Protein?

While meeting your protein needs through a balanced diet is commendable, for vegetarians, it is challenging to obtain sufficient protein without overdoing on calories. Conventional foods (like paneer) though high in protein, are not complete proteins as they lack some essential amino acids like methionine. They also come with extra calories from fats. Whey Protein, being low in fat, provides a convenient and quick source of high-quality protein without extra calories, making it useful for obtaining protein without excess calories. This makes it suitable for individuals planning on losing excess weight, as well as for active individuals with a fitness goal to maintain lean body mass.

  1. Are there any side effects of Whey Protein Isolate?

Whey Protein Isolate is generally safe for most people when consumed in appropriate amounts. However, excessive protein intake may lead to digestive issues. It’s essential to follow the recommended serving size and consult with a healthcare professional if you have concerns.

  1. Can pregnant or breastfeeding women use Whey Protein Isolate?

Whey protein is safe protein. It offers various health benefits when consumed in recommended proportions. It is also helpful for pregnant or breastfeeding women who want to meet their protein intake. But we recommend consulting with their healthcare provider before incorporating Whey Protein Isolate into your routine.

  1. Does consuming whey protein lead to kidney damage?

No, for individuals with healthy kidneys, moderate protein intake (0.8g to 2.0g protein/kg body weight), whey protein does not cause strain. Maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated is a general recommendation for overall kidney function. Individuals with pre-existing kidney conditions should consult with a healthcare professional before adding protein supplements to their diet. While moderate protein intake is usually safe, personalized advice is essential for those with kidney issues.
